How to Change a Duvet Cover
A duvet cover is a stylish addition to any bedroom and a great way to give a face-lift to tired decor. Need to learn how to change a duvet cover? Simply follow along. It's easier with a spare pair of hands, but it is possible to do without any assistance.
First: Take it off
Start by undoing the fastenings of the old duvet cover. Tug to remove the cover, leaving the duvet itself visible.
Second: Flip it
Make sure the new duvet cover is straight. Lay it out across the floor so there is no uncertainty about how to reposition it. With the duvet cover flat on the floor, turn it inside-out to the reverse side. With your hands in the cover toward the top edges, grasp the lower edges of the duvet and tug the cover over them.
Third: Do it again
Perform the same step with the opposite end, straightening out the edges. Secure the duvet cover by buttoning it or zipping it in place. This keeps the cover in proper position until the next time it is ready to be changed.
